I made a physical version of the color gradient I made in photoshop. It took a while to finish, as SOMEONE kept telling me to fix the brush strokes. I look dumb in the picture on the right.

On the green sweater is Ike from Super Smash. I added a photo of Rivers Cuomo of Weezer onto a yellow sweater. Today I fiddled around with rotation and reflections (in photoshop) to make these. I tried to experiment with replacing the large centerpiece the kaleidoscope effect naturally creates with negative space to create a frame effect.I also tried to create a recursive cat fur swirl with rotation, scaling and blur, but it didn't turn out very well.
We created futuristic cites with staples, and used lighting effects to stylize them. The edited pictures are on the left, and the unedited are on the right.
I made a slideshow about Walter Chandoha, including some of my attempts to replicate his style. We spent a bit working on taking forced perspective pictures, where the viewer is forced to see a certain image, generally by playing around with camera angles and distance from the camera. These are some Sean and I took.
Art Imitates Life
I made this to represent the way art can create it's own art. As people see it, they think about it and replicate it in their own minds. As a caucasian from the suburbs, I'm clearly the best candidate to make a statement on street art. None of the images used in this photo (the man, the vandal and the street corner) are my own. This was merely an exercise in photoshop. We worked on removing a background to create a stencil effect. Video
I made a video using Adobe Spark (an editor I HATE) about my life. |
